Scott’s Grant takes us back to the mid 1700’s and has been the home for Scott families for all those years. They certainly were a significant part of Guilford County’s history and a part of a community that has been family oriented.

Since the 1700’s when the land grant was given to the Scott Family, they have been flourishing. Building homes, making a living and raising children. I can just image family get togethers with large numbers of brothers and sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, Grandparents all enjoying the joys of family. Food was probably at the center of activities, each season bringing the best dish from each cook. Food that was probably grown right on the farms or hunted by the men of the family. Doesn’t it all sound just picture perfect.
