Jeff Jackson Builder Story – Monarch Homes NC

Investors Land Services and Monarch Homes were formed in February of 2009 during the worst downturn in the housing market since the Great Depression. It was a truly scary time to start a business, but I recognized it as an opportunity to get back to the basics of providing an important service, a service that had suffered from years of housing boom.

Twenty-six years working in the homebuilding industry in construction management, land development and executive management with some of the largest homebuilders in the country taught me many valuable lessons. Some of these lessons were good, some not so good. I have been blessed to work with some of the best people in the business. I have also seen the loss of focus in some cases about what a homebuilder should be to their customers. During the housing boom, customers, quality and product took a back seat to satisfying Wall Street expectations and making quarterly goals.

My pledge to our customers is to use my experience to provide the highest level of products and services at the best value possible. I refuse to compromise the quality of my homes by using the cheapest material and labor available. At the same time I work hard to get the best value for quality material and workmanship and to explore new materials and methods, all which translate into a home that I am proud to say that I was a part of.

I also pledge to maintain reasonable flexibility in options, ideas, new techniques and to continue the improvement our products and services. Most of all I enjoy getting to know my customers, hear their ideas and visions. From their vision together we fashion a home that will please them, their families, friends, and serve them well for many years. All of my customers know me and know that while I am not perfect, I will go to the extreme to communicate, do what I say I will do and do the right thing. I have no desire to become a large homebuilder, but should you need a builder who you can talk to personally, who will listen to your vision and truly appreciate your business, I would love the opportunity to meet you.

There is nothing more important to my business than my customers, because without them there is no Monarch Homes.
